I'm a day trader, long term trader and I analyse the stock market and political status.

I'm proud to say that I am one of the few who have made a successful career as a day trader. I have put in over 11 years of research to create a successful analytical result oriented trading.

First and foremost, I value honesty. I share my biggest winners AND my biggest losers. I only trade the Futures market on a daily basis, and long term options trading on stocks.

Secondly, I love to see people succeed. I have devoted the past 11 years in understanding the market to better trade with winning results. I believe that people want the truth and not imagery based on hopes and false promises. Lifetime goals are not reached on seeing scenarios of would be success.

You might be visiting after finding me on YouTube, Facebook and all other social media or Google, where I’ve been sharing my journey and educating others about the market. My main interest is to educate investors and daytraders to learn what moves the market. The truth of what is happening, and what to expect.

The road to becoming a profitable trader was a hard one for me, as it is for so many others. The statistics that most day traders lose money are well known, and when I got started I did, too. I started John Harper Trader to help other traders avoid some of the costly mistakes that I made. There was a large gap in the market needing to be filled with a comprehensive news analysis and pointing out the levels created or inspired by alorythms that exists in the market.

I often repeat a phrase while I am trading each morning:

Never Trust The Market

Those words are a reminder to me—and more importantly to my followers—that day trading is not a get-rich-quick pursuit. Your biggest wins in the stock market can easily be followed by your biggest loss. Understanding the market and reasoning to as to why the moves occur is the fist step to profitability.

On any given day someone can get lucky and hit a winning trade. But luck runs out. In order to be consistently profitable in the market, traders need mental discipline, the right tools, and a proven trading strategy. Rather than view the stock markets like a casino, traders should treat their career in day trading like a business—one that takes time to build and grow.
